Der Weg zum Bio-Zertifikat läuft in drei Phasen: Vorbereitung mit Lieferantenprüfung und sauberer Lagerung, die angekündigte Erstkontrolle mit Betriebsrundgang, und bei Erfüllung die Zertifizierung inklusive Logo-Kategorie. Danach folgt mindestens einmal jährlich eine unangekündigte Kontrolle.
