General provisions: Telephone and signalling regulations

Clear and precise signalling is essential for the safe operation of ropeways. Training on the various driving signals, telephone signals and auxiliary signals ensures that ropeway personnel are able to react quickly and correctly to operational requirements and take immediate action in an emergency to ensure the safety of passengers and employees.

These operating regulations apply to all cable car operating staff and employees.
